This practical book will help you:
- Make family a priority
- Create lasting memories
- Connect with your children
- Maximize your time
- Focus on God’s will for your family
- Simplify your days
- Live a purposeful life
This book’s great tips and touching stories contain wonderful illustrations for moms who want to live a simpler, more purposeful life. But don’t mistake this for just another how-to book. The key theme of the story is putting God and your family first. My favorite part is entitled, “From My Husband to Yours.” It’s a list of suggestions from Mary’s husband, Jim, written to guide husbands who want to help their wives.
Okay, I may be a little prejudiced: Mary happens to be one of the Alongsiders (my critique group). I happen to know that she is a sweet, lady-of-God in all situations. Her loving personality shows through this book full of practical advice to help any mother raise her children in a Christ-filled home.
Are you tired of being Mom’s taxi? Do you wonder exactly how much your children actually hear when you talk to them? Check out this book and see if Mary’s advice can help.
Be sure to check back. I’ll be posting an interview with Mary!
